He made a belly landing at 13 :20 near Faymonville hit by flak while strafing column Peiper the 18 December 1944 2nd Lt Price Roy Wayne (EVD+RTD) but he was with the 365th FG 386th FS he return 2 days later I have also that serial #42-28836 found at the same place than you Best regards Phil |

Hi Phil,
You're correct by changing the unit of this pilot. Probably due to the fact that he returned so fast to his unit that no macr was made. The Macr had to be made within 48 hours of the time an aircraft is officially reported missing. Best regards from the other side of Belgium. Luc |
