Re: FW-190 ID Help
Thank you for the responses. I believe it it a W and not a V. These codes are not standard unit markings are they??
Van has been a very good friend for many years. He flew Spit Mk Vb HL+O, Spit Mk VIII HL+Q and P-51B HL+Q and made claims for 2 FW-190s (1 destroyed and 1 damaged) in May 1944.
