There's something special about this loss. Among the crew members was an American, F/O Leon E. Oldmixon from Nassau County, NY.

Even though it involved an RAF Lancaster, the Americans also made a report because of that one missing American: MACR 8804.

I can't help you with a precise crash location. Hit by Flak over Braunschweig.
