Would that be the one lost with Sussman and Jones? I don't have a serial number but this makes for interesting reading:

While on an intruder mission, Capt. Jones and Lt. Sussman were fired upon by a B-17. Jones told the controller that he had received fire which shot out one engine, tail surfaces and wounded Lt. Sussman. The pilot tried to bring the A/C to an emergency field because Lt. Sussman couldn't bail out. Capt. Jones' last words to the controller before he and and his observer spun in were "I guess we've had it."
