Additional piece of information surfaced.

RF+ON has apparently been logged in Herbert Riedel's Flugbuch. Unit was FFS (C) 9 and date May 6th, 1943. According Michael Holm's site the unit was based at Pretzsch which is some 200 km SW of Berlin. This leaves the Eastern Front markings without explanation.

Would RF+ON have been transferred to KG 101? This was training unit and based at Pskov for May to August 1943. It may have participated on missions too. During Summer 1943 Luftflotte 1 had practically no bombers as they were transferred to central sector of Eastern Front (Lfl 6 area).
