Hi John,

another photos of this a/c are in Barbas "Aircraft of the Luftwaffe Fighter Aces Part 2". This mount was flown by Unf.Gerhard Raimann.
But also basing on this photo we see:
- a hangar building typical for Siwerskaja airfield (III/JG52 was in this time in South of Russia)
- the shape of number 5 and wave line is typical for III/JG54 in this period (large and slim)
- beneth the cockpit you can see part of Gruen Herz badge (withe outlined)
So there are any reasons to say that this is an a/c from III/JG52
