Re: JG 26 losses december 1941

Hi Alain,

Feldwebel Alois Ripplinger was a pilot of 4./(F)123, he and Leutnant Bernhard Frank were shot down at zero feet by F/Sgt Frank Murphy and F/O G. G. Thomas in Typhoon Ib's of No.486 (NZ) Squadron. Both Messerschmitts and pilots lost 20 - 30 miles SSE of St. Catherines Point on the 24.12.42.

Ripplinger's A/C Messerschmitt Bf 109G-1 Wnr.14135 White 22 +
Frank's Messerschmitt Bf 109G-1 Wnr.14133 White 19 +

Regards

Melvin
