Re: Me 109G at Volkel Airbase September 1944
After discussion with several people and further research we know now that it was not a plane from JG 77. The KTB of JG 77 made that very clear.
We also have received information that it could be a plane(s) of JG 76. III./JG 76 was transferred from Stade(D.) to Anthies(F.) at August 20/21, 1944. Maybe with a stop and an accident at Volkel(Neth.)? Jaap
