Just found out they belonged to the 4. Staffel (?)

This is all we have seen on this guy:

HEUBEL, Reinhold. 20.05.41 Oblt., Staka 4./ZG 26 KIA shot down into the sea by AA at Heraklion (Bf 110, 3U+AM).

None of the other fellows show up in our files.

Oh Steve,

i can`t remember all the different sources threw the years. I think Qu.M 6.

What i noticed is the lack of comprehensive knowledge about the ZG 26. The same with according literature.
As you see, there is a very little respond in the blog aswell.

Hi Byron,

With permission of the bureaucracies concerned, a couple of month's time and a few thousand Euros, you could probably compile a roster of all officers and other ranks (enlisted personnel) who ever served in ZG 26. Here is what you would need:

1) WASt in Berlin has the Erkennungsmarkenlisten for the units;

2) BA-MA Freiburg has the Karteikarten for all Luftwaffe air crew personnel.

It would be a tedious job, but it could be done.
