AIR ENTHUSIAST - article - Spitfires Burma
A few years ago AIR ENTHUSIAST quarterly had an article describing the last air-to-air combat by a Spitfire.
It was by the air force of Burma, in the 1950s, using an ex-Israeli Spitfire IX. The target was a PB4Y-2 flown by the Chinese Nationalists, overflying Burmese territory to resupply KMT groups in the north. Can anyone provide a reference to this article (title, author, issue) or, better yet, a copy? thanks, David Isby
