http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showth...hlight=Haslope but there are still some unanswered questions so: 1. Can anyone confirm the Wk Nr or codes? 2. Was the crew Oblt (Alfred or Karl) Schmidt, Wd Insp Karl Rösch, Fw Helmut Grupen & Ofw Fritz Schefer? Rösch and Grupen have graves, I think Schefer was wounded but I can find nothing on Schmidt. 3. Where did it crash? 165 Sqn says 15 miles north of Vannes but other sources say Grand Champs, Retaud, Leuhan, Quimper (VDK) or even Quiberon! Last edited by Chris Goss; 14th August 2012 at 10:31.
