Re: Bf 109 WNr question
Based on loss reports:
1) Others are Bf 109E, except 1713, which is either B-1 or D-1. 2) Others are Bf 109F, except 13469, which is Bf 109G-2. 3) All are Bf 109G-2. 4) All are Bf 109G-6. Matti |

Re: Bf 109 WNr question - now Slovak Bf 109s
Thanks for your help!
972 1495 1572 1625 1713 2787 2945 3317 3444 3461 4870 5244 6442 6474 5015 These were apparently among the 16 Bf 109E that were delivered to Slovakia in 1942. They were flown by a Slovakian pilot who was stationed at Majkop from 9 November 1942, I presume by the Slovak Letka 13. Apparently used aircraft, Bf 109E-1s, E-3s and E-4s, and possibly one Bf 109D. 7004 7026 7088 7534 13134 13220 13334 13340 13367 13383 These Bf 109F-2s were loaned to the Slovaks and operated by 13. (Slow.)/JG 52 from January 1943. 13469 14743 14801 14830 These Bf 109G-2s were operated by 13. (Slow.)/JG 52 from March 1943. 161713 161717 161718 161720 161722 161728 Bf 109G-6 aircraft that were operated by the Slovak Air Force in 1944. I do not know how many were handed over. One source says 15. /Lennart A |
