Bf 109 G-6:

W.Nr. 161713 "NP+XV", 13. JaSta:

Re: Bf 109 WNr question

Based on loss reports:

1) Others are Bf 109E, except 1713, which is either B-1 or D-1.

2) Others are Bf 109F, except 13469, which is Bf 109G-2.

3) All are Bf 109G-2.

4) All are Bf 109G-6.

These were apparently among the 16 Bf 109E that were delivered to Slovakia in 1942. They were flown by a Slovakian pilot who was stationed at Majkop from 9 November 1942, I presume by the Slovak Letka 13. Apparently used aircraft, Bf 109E-1s, E-3s and E-4s, and possibly one Bf 109D.

These Bf 109F-2s were loaned to the Slovaks and operated by 13. (Slow.)/JG 52 from January 1943.

13469

These Bf 109G-2s were operated by 13. (Slow.)/JG 52 from March 1943.

Bf 109G-6 aircraft that were operated by the Slovak Air Force in 1944. I do not know how many were handed over. One source says 15.
