Battle IV L9179 139 Sqn May 14 1940
Re: LAC V S G Barlow on this aircraft is same Victor St. George Barrow as involved with L8838 of 114 Sqn February, 27 1940 - However, I suspect that Sgt Howard Beckett Wallis #580532 who was killed was also actually of 114 Sqn or at least was the same Sgt Wallis who baled out of N6157 of 114 Sqn at Auxerre, France on March 2, 1940
Seeing as both Sqns were at Plivot aerodrome at the time, it is possible they shared crews Anyone can confirm? |
