Re: Russian planes victim of Oblt. Rapp 5/NJG 5

During the night 22./23. 12. 1944 two night fighters of 5./NJG 5 claimed five Russian Lisunov Li-2 planes:
Uffz. Otto Hille two and
Oblt. Werner Rapp three,
all vicinity of Tarnów, Galitzien, Poland.
Soviet 29th Guards Bomber Air Regiment lost three Li-2s (crews led by 1/Lt P. E. Anisimov, Lt V. A. Romanov and Lt D. Smolnikov) while fourth plane (captain 1/Lt S. Pakov) was badly damaged, but returned to base.
