US aircraft record cards meanings!?
Hi all
I have a US aircraft record card indicating a delivery flight from Buffalo NY to Great Falls Montana. (Part of the pre ALSIB US-Alaska supply route) but the ATC leg across the US. Can't make head nor tail of some of the place names? under 'Station' 'So Beno' or 'So Bend'? No idea Zargo, Tango, Fango? No idea Gr. Falls - Great Falls. Montana. Also under the condition column it has 'weather' - why? and also 'ROW' - any thoughts? On British RAF Form 78 cards means RIW - Repaired in works- ROS - Repaired on Site. Is it something similar? regards MS |
