Dutch translation needed
A question for our Dutch friends.
I translate the sentence "overleden ten gevolge van een vliegtuig beschieting" as "was killed by an air attack" but I wonder if "vliegtuig beschieting" may be translated by strafing. Thanks in advance Laurent |

Re: Dutch translation needed
Hi Laurent,
A "vliegtuigbeschieting" is indeed a strafing. The translation air attack is too wide and might indicate a bombing attack as well. More translations needed? Regards, Hans Nauta |

Re: Dutch translation needed
Hans, thanks
Actually for most of my limited needs the Altavista robot is good enough, maybe because Dutch and English shared the same linguistic roots. It is awful for Italian translations. In this case the robot translation was "airplane cannonading", so my idea was to translate it by strafing but I was not 100% sure. |
