Stab I./KG 76 Hptm von Sichartshoff

A question for the experts among you:
Do we know more concerning the whatabouts of the death of Hptm Robert Sichart von Sichartshoff on the 2nd day of "Barbarossa" after suffering from an engine failure of his Ju 88(?) over the Soviet union? Was he Kommandeur of I./KG 76?
