aircraft remains found in western poland
hi everyone there!
my pleasure is to inform all the community that we have found some remains of an aircraft. Sure it's german. we suspect it's fw190. the site's located in western poland. now, please take a look at the parts we don't recognize: 1. some kind of cover: german words say: Achtung vor H(oe)henjustierung Klemmschraube tuben(not really sure abt. this last word) 2. button? knob...? german word: Bauart, siemens logo visible on the side... and there's some, that we know: 1. there's rev counter's plate (used in many types of fighters): 2. there's also part of this master compass FK-m (also pretty common): ![]() the part we have is a small cover with nominal plate visible in the center of the device (i have no photo of it here). and there's a lot of 13mm and 20mm ammo remains, plus this really cool thing ![]() which seems to be mg131... we'll be gratefull for anything, that can help us to confirm we have the FW here. brgds |
