Pilot Officer W.C. De Shane, March 9, 1942 any info ?

Hi
Found some info on a website, and it's puzzling me.....

Pilot Officer W.C. De Shane, 20, was killed in action over Norfolk County, England, on March 9, 1942,...
( he )......... was one of the few Canadians piloting a twin-motored Whirlwind fighter plane.

I have searched my stuff but can't find any info, unless I have missed it.
presumably he was with 137Sq,
but can't find anything on that date on the the CWWG search either

Anyone any info ?
Cheers
Jerry
