1./JG 27, Weisse 5. EBay.
Hi guys,
Another picture of that Bf109E-4(E-3?), Weisse 5, 1./ JG 27 taken in De Panne (La Panne in french). This is the 5th picture of that same beached plane. http://www.ebay.de/itm/TOP-Me-109-ge...item4cff7d0f65 Camouflage style and number size are typical for I./JG 27 in early 40s. Seller tells "Yellow 5". I must recognise that even with five pictures I still am not able to decide clearly ... ... But I prefer white! ![]() The fact there is no I./JG 27 emblem is also typical for that period and unit. Cheers, Franck. Ah, yes, May 1940. |
