Two requests about Ju88s....
Hello, some friends found the remains of a plane identified as a Ju-88. The crash site is near Pievepelago (province of Modena, north Italy), nearby villages are Sant'Anna Pelago and Rocca Pelago. Local sources say that the plane went down between 15 and 16 November 1944. Other sources say that it was a 2/kg30 Ju-88 crashed in the night of 10 November 1943, returning to Ghedi after the bombing of Naples. Someone had other informations?
The other request is about another Ju88, belonging to the Fernaufklärungsgruppe 123. I've found in a "verlustliste" the names of: Uffz HARTMANN Kurt Ofw. SCHNEIDER Konrad Lt. EPPLE Daniel All died on 14 April 1944 over Montefiascone. I would know more about their plane and their mission. Thanks in advance!
