To me 'beim rollen' would translate as 'while taxiing'. It certainly could be during landing, but this one certainly is more unspecific than usual, in fact it's the only time I've seen this description for a loss (this from the Schulen losses). This could be an engine seizure vs. a brake seizure, as Don says. There is a 2nd casualty listed - Uffz. Hans Kratzel, but it is crossed out, so presumably that would make a 2-seater type, an Ar 96 or Bü 131 maybe? I haven't found a correction yet, and that may give more details. There is no aircraft listed with the loss, which generally means <10%, but a fatality occurred. (Grr, I'm so close to finally finishing recording the Schulen losses - this is literally my last page short of cross referencing with the duplicate fiche sets.) Guys, thank you for weighing in on this one.
