Gilles,
I now have access to the NVM for Viehmann. The location is "12 Km NW of Ossun", time is 11:1o hrs. Cause is "Presumed crashed due to altitude-sickness. Aircraft burst near ground. Pilot thrown out of a/c, immediately dead". And: Yes "WIA" is "wounded in action". I know, that this should be "WIFA" -"wounded in flying accident", but I do not make any difference in my database.
