Re: Photo Nieuport
Hello,
More photos and information on Nieuport XVII Nr.1420, here: http://albindenis.free.fr/Site_escad...adrille103.htm and ... KEK Vaux (-En-Vermandois) (Chapter 8). The seventh victory for von Althaus came on 2 July (1916), when he shot down a Nieuport 11 'Bebe' (Baby) or scout of Escadrille F 114. On the same day, Escadrille N 103 reported a Nieuport 17 as missing; both aircraft were operating in the same area. The plane had the serial number 1420 and seems to have been pictured in a photo album of a member of FFA 23. The Nieuport piloted by MdL (Andre) Seigneurie, was captured intact.
