Translation assistance.
I have the following loss from the Gen.Qu. Schulen records:
FW 56, 2502, n.n., , , , Flzg.Führ.Sch. A/B 115, , CT+BH, CT+BH, , 03-Nov-40, Bruch der Steuerergane., , Lfl.4/Osterreich, BA-MA Signatur RL 2 III/781, Flzg.Unfälle bei Schulen und usw., p.72, , bei Wels, 100%, H, , , Can anyone give a reasonably accurate translation of 'Bruch der Steuerergane'? Babelfish said 'Break of Steuerergane'. I could figure that much out... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jim P. |

Re: Translation assistance.
Probable misspelling. Should read "Steuerorgane". Therefore if so: broken control mechanisms or systems. The wires or cables used to steer the plane from the cockpit probably snapped or got fouled.
But one of the German members should still take a look and either confirm this or change it. |

Not german myself, but I've learned the language.

Re: Translation assistance.
Me as a German native would translate it as break of the controls or at least a serious damage of technical sub-elements of the controls.
